Time-series metrics
- Total, upstream, sent, and shield bytes.
- Total requests and 2xx, 3xx, 4xx, and 5xx responses.
- Cached and uncached responses.
- Request and traffic cache-hit rates.
- Upstream response time and overall request time when available.

Investigation patterns
- A falling cache-hit rate with stable traffic suggests new URLs, cache-key fragmentation, short TTLs, or bypass behavior.
- Rising upstream time with stable edge request time can indicate origin degradation.
- A 4xx increase usually requires application, signed-URL, ACL, or path investigation.
- A 5xx increase alongside misses and origin latency points toward upstream health.
Analytics can return no content for a new distribution or an interval without collected traffic. Treat an empty response differently from a response containing zero-valued datapoints.
