# Request logs

> Inspect CDN requests and correlate delivery behavior with cache status, origin responses, and purge history.

Open a distribution's **Logs** page to inspect requests within the selected time range. Narrow results by HTTP method, response status, cache status, or client IP where available. Use logs to investigate a specific response, then compare the same time window with [analytics](/cloud-cdn/analytics).

The API endpoint is `/cloud-cdn/distributions/logs?distribution=42`. Supported filters include `from`, `to`, `method`, `status`, `cache_status`, `client_ip`, `limit`, and `offset`. Its response contains `data`, `meta.count`, and `unavailable`.

An unavailable log source is different from an empty matching result. Check availability, filters, and data collection before concluding that no requests occurred. Avoid including sensitive request URLs or client information in public issue reports.

Use `/cloud-cdn/tools/purge/edge-history?distribution=42` to inspect delivery-side purge history alongside the [submitted purge history](/cloud-cdn/purge-and-prefetch). It returns `items` and `unavailable`. A submitted purge and a completed purge represent different stages of the same operation.
