# Advanced delivery options

> Configure network error reporting, range behavior, certificate options, and query-string forwarding.

Open a distribution's **Advanced** page for specialized delivery controls. Read the current settings, change only the controls needed for your workload, and verify representative URLs after saving.

| Control | Purpose |
| - | - |
| Network error logging | Enable supported network error reporting |
| Disable forced ranges | Control forced byte-range behavior |
| HTTPS-to-HTTP redirect | Redirect secure requests to HTTP; mutually exclusive with the TLS page's HTTP-to-HTTPS redirect |
| Managed certificate options | Choose default chain, DNS-01 challenge, and RSA certificate options where supported |
| Query forwarding | Select source file types, destination file types, and query keys to forward |

Keep HTTPS for production delivery. If you change redirect direction, disable the conflicting redirect first and test for loops.

## Query forwarding

Enable forwarding and supply the relevant file-type and query-key lists. Each list accepts up to 50 entries; each entry is at most 64 characters. Leading file-type dots and surrounding whitespace are normalized. Verify that forwarded query values do not change cache isolation for authenticated or personalized content.

## API

GET and PUT `/cloud-cdn/distributions/configurations/advanced?distribution=42` read and replace the complete configuration. The public body contains `network_error_logging`, `disable_proxy_force_ranges`, `redirect_https_to_http`, `use_default_le_chain`, `use_dns01_le_challenge`, `use_rsa_le_certificate`, `query_forward_enabled`, `query_forward_from`, `query_forward_to`, and `query_forward_keys`.

The read response also includes `http_to_https_redirect` to show the existing TLS setting. Use the TLS configuration endpoint to change that setting. Preserve the desired values when writing; omitted booleans become false.
